Hi and Welcome everybody.my name is avishay back and i am an electric bass player.born in israel 1981, started playing bass at the age of 14 and didn't really stop since then.i have studied music in israel both as my high school major and for two more years in RIMON, the school for jazz and contemporery music in israel. after those years of fine education and playing around israel in too many bands and settings , i've decided in 2003 to go and attend the studies at CONSERVATORIUM VAN AMSTERDAM. i finished the conservatorium recently and shortly after relocated to LISBON, where i currently live.during the 13 years that have passed since i first touched a string intrument, i have been lucky enough to study and play with numeros great musicians both in israel and holland.these days i am living in lisbon, playing in a function band all over europe and concentrating on playing, teaching, and making my own music.The music on this page is all made at home as sketches . if you would like to know more details about my music, music lessons or playing please feel free to contact me at :
