About Me

Music heads. Music tails. Music tales. Music tells stories. Some of which we make up as we listen along, others as we pick up a forgotten cover from the stand in the back. These stories may be heard by many or by no one at all, may be similar to others or second to none. Is there a story in a record left unheard? Or in one which has long been forgotten? Is there one in a story heard by all but which has told nothing worth remembering? What should be understood from one which contains songs other than those written on its cover? Or from this one you hold in your hands, covered with the images of others? Every story is progress, reborn with every break, turn and silence. Optimistic in the sheer hope of, and more importantly, belief, that someone will listen. This is not a journey into (just) sound, it’s a story of musicians as engineers (“Do you play the piano? Well, not really”), molding together the old and younger to give birth to new ones. Could it be anything other but the labor of true love? My story as a part of this one, itself made of many disparate others, assembled together to tell yet another. A trip, Radio Trip’s. And as you listen along…well, it’s already becoming your own.
