The Indulgers are a Celtic /Western/Rock Band hailing from Colorado. The Indulgers are: Dublin born Damien McCarron Vocal/Guitar, Pat Murphy Drums & Percussion, Renee Fine Violin, Chris Murtaugh Bass, and Mike Nile Vocal/Guitar, Mandolin, Whistle, Accordian, and Electronic Bagpipe.Their latest... (the 6th) CD "Out In The West" has songwriting inspired by the western legends, culture, and experiences of the Irish/Scottish immigrants, who came to America bound for a new life in the west. The Indulgers have delivered an exciting new blend of celtic music combining celtic melodies with western/rock/folk rhythms.......music that moves and inspires.A decade ago The Indulgers became Denver and Boulder Colorado's premier Irish celtic music group. Years later still based in Boulder, Colorado, they constantly tour and delight audiences with their unique blend of celtic/western/folk/rock style in festivals, theaters, clubs, and pubs from San Francisco to New York City. This year The Indulgers completed a successful tour of Ireland making arrangements with a professional travel agency to bring along friends and fans interested in touring with the band. Flights, hotels, bus, food, and a site-seeing tour guide was included in the package trip. The band perfomed in Ennis with Johnny Fean guitarist and vocalist of Horslips a band considered to be one of the true pioneers of celtic rock music, and after a live radio broadcast in Kilkenny performed at the famed Cleere's Theater, ending with a livley night in Damien's hometown Howth, a beautiful fishing village just outside of Dublin. Damien's family, friends, and locals joined the "Ireland Tour 2007" crew for a memorable final night performance in Ireland. The band made many new friends and contacts on the journey and plans to return to Ireland again in the future. The Indulger's Video's, Audio, History and Schedule can be found at WWW.SHAMROCKER.COM.
