.... The Fort Collins Irish Fest was incredibly fun. The Brazen Heads performed Friday, Saturday and Sunday and got to hang out with some really great performers like The Young Dubliners, The Elders, The Screaming Orphans and many more. We look forward to doing it again!
.... The Brazen Heads are in the studio starting July 18th laying tracks for our new CD. It's going to be a good one! I'll keep you posted on progress.

.... My full-time band is the Celtic rock group The Brazen Heads and our CD "Who's Yer Paddy" is out! You can listen to samples of a few of the songs in the mp3 player below. After The Brazen Heads songs is am mp3 of a series of clips from recording sessions I've done in various styles on both acoustic and electric violins. Next is a live recording with my longtime band Walt Richardson & The Peaceful Warriors. After that is an acoustic trio recording with Walt Richardson and Hannes Kvaran. And the last track is from a recording session I did for the Christian duo ReignDown.

.... My violin is my voice and when you listen I hope that you can hear that the passion and power in my playing is coming from my heart and soul. This is especially true when I'm on stage, whether playing a beautiful ballad or a down and dirty high speed jam. If you are moved by my playing and can feel what I’m saying with my violin, then we've made the connection and everything is good.
.... I have experience with many styles of music. Classical. Reggae. Folk. Celtic. Country Pop. New age. Hip hop. Rock. Etc. All music is good music in my book!
.... I currently play and sing with The Brazen Heads (Celtic rock mayhem!)and Walt Richardson & The Peaceful Warriors (reggae and more). I've done recent shows with The Bread Winners (bluegrass) and guitarist Drew Bennett (flamenco), was a founding member of The Alston Sisters Band (country pop) and did shows in the past with rocker Billy Cioffi and pop/rocker Freddie Duran and others. I'm also a past member of the 1st violin section of the Tempe Symphony.

.... I also give private violin and viola lessons. So if you'd like to learn, played before and would like to pick it up again or currently play but just want to get better, come see me! I really enjoy teaching and making lessons fun for my students. You'll learn proper technique and have a good time while learning. My young students have been very successful in auditions for honors orchestra and other special groups. My adult students just enjoy the experience of making good music!
