Ash Street Music

Ash Street Music was started in Denver, Colorado in 1996. Originally, June McHugh and Tom Gould created Ash Street to serve as a conduit between musicians and songwriters in the from the Rocky Mountain Region to the Nashville market. Through the contacts June and Tom had made, they began learning the business and building a catalog, taking songs they had written along with songs written by Rocky Mountain region songwriters, to build a presence in Nashville, TN.
June and Tom opened an office in the summer of 2002, with the main office still remaining in Denver and a sister office in Los Angeles. On March 17, 2003, Ash Street purchased its own home building on Music Row. Since then, with the help of many friends in the industry; Will Robinson, Bruce Burch, John Briggs, Ralph Murphy, David Preston, Dub Cornett, among many others, Ash Street has built a nine hundred song catalog with twelve staff writers and an office staff of five.
Ash Street Music continues to focus on developing writers, attaining cuts and building its catalog. June and Tom are very optimistic about the future and are proud of the efforts they, as well as, the writers and staff have put in building Ash Street into the strong independent company it has become.
