Patience & Persistence

About Me

____________________________________________________________ __Jimmy & Gary have been writing and playing together for some time now. They both have a strong admiration for one another, as they have the same appreciation for music. They strive to push the limits on combining a little of the old style with a new sound. No matter the age of the listener, you always feel a comfort with what you hear. Each in their own right a fine musician, the two together are like no other. Strong writing, coupled with outstanding music, rich vocals, with sibling-like harmonies, make for an all-around full sound. Jimmy & Gary both grew up in Northern California, and have always had the love of country music in their blood. Jimmy started playing on his Grandpa's 1940's F-hole Epiphone. His love for guitars grew from there. Through the years he's aquired quite an impressive collection. "Every guitar rings differently and you need the different sounds when you record". Jimmy had moved to Nashville in the late 80's, but his grandmother took ill and he returned to California to take care of her. While he was there he played at the old Frame, and was under contract with F. Kendall. He also met 1 of Roy Orbison's son's Wesley and played for Wesley's grandmother. He has since remarried and it's Kimmarie's job to get the music out there, she's made a few trips to Nashville & can't wait til it's time to go again. Persistently pitching, for the love of the music. Gary also learned to play guitar at an early age. Now-A-Days there isn't an instrument his fingers can't play. Gary has played with some of the best, and is highly respected for his talents in this business. He has played with The Flying Burritos Brothers, and The New Riders of the Purple Sage, back in the day.He can add working with Stu Cook of CCR Fame, Tom Fogerty, and writing with Steve Seskin and Andre Pessis to his credits, as well as producing the "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" album for Elmo & Patsy. One of his originals is on that Christmas album. A true professional in every sense of the word. They have 2 cuts for a Bluegrass Christmas CD, as well a a cut on a Bluegrass CD out soon, both for Elmo. Be on the look out for both.
