About Me

The backwoods bayous of Shaw, Mississippi are where Greg Crowe got his start. The Delta provided him with the musical diversity of blues guitar legend Son Thomas and Crowe's uncle, Paul Warren, who played fiddle for Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs for over 20 years. Crowe began hitting the road with his own band in his teenage years, touring the clubs of the Southeast, developing his musical talents and expanding his repertoire. After creating his own blend of rock, blues, and country, Crowe made the big move to Nashville in 1989, honing his songwriting and guitar playing skills with many of the top names in the industry.
Crowe scored his first cut with "Little Did I Know," by Sammy Kershaw. He also provided Montgomery Gentry with their first top 5 hit, "Lonely and Gone." Crowe provided the Titans Radio Network with their theme song for two seasons, "We're Fired Up," which he wrote, sang, and produced. Additionally, he released his own, self-titled independent album, produced by Blue Miller, which includes the tribute song to the southern belle, "G.R.I.T.S. (Girls Raised In The South)." The music video is scheduled to be released on Great American Country (GAC) July 2005. For more information, or to purchase his CD, please visit GregCrowe.com.
