About Me

Born in St. Louis, MO (a Cardinal fan of course) Clark was brought up singing in church and has never looked back. Music has always been around due to the large influence of his entire family. With the numerous music majors in the family, its true the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. In 2004, Clark spent a short while as a worship leader at a church and began to pursue his own love for music. Not long after, he knew music was his calling. Inspired by close friends and events, Clark began writing, and in early 2007 he released his debut album entitled " Against the Grain." Bringing his new country and folk feel, he has developed a genre all his own. An unknown author once said, "music is what feelings sound like." Clark portrays just that through this album. Currently, Clark resides in Louisville, KY while adamantly pursuing his music career.... Aside from performing Clark has also developed opportunities within the music field. In collaboration with Coyotes Music & Dance Hall, "On The Bus With Clark Absher" was born. Artists that perform concerts sit down with Clark for a short interview. Erv Woolsey(George Straits mgr), Hanson, Ronnie Godfrey(Marshall Tucker Band), Craig Morgan, and Steve Holy have all sat down recently....Clark, along with Joey Constantine have also started "The Clark & Joey Show." An acoustic guitar duo playing anything from Waylon Jennings to The Fray, and everything in between. Recently the duo added a full band, only to recieve an endorsement from Budwieser a month after. "the C-J-S" also hosted an open mic night every week at Losers Most Wanted Bar....Not only sharing the stage with artists such as Craig Morgan, Lady Antebellum, Chris Young, Steve Holy, Jerrod Niemann, you can also find Clark playing shows at numerous bars and private parties all over the region._____________________________________________________ ______ -
