About Me

B Digital Recording has been the creative home of producer/engineer Tom Benvenuto since 1996. Tom won producer of the year for 2002 by Ninevolt Magazine readers here in Hampton Roads for his work with Andrew McNeely of Sea of Souls on their record "Flowers and Landmines". Prior to that Tom worked with Rollins Band guitarist Chris Haskett on Car 44's world wide release "Platinum Holes" on Thirsty Ear Records. Car 44's debut release gained favorable comments from music critics here in the U.S. and abroad. Tom has also done ground breaking work with the phenominal musical collective known as Seed Is. B Digital Recording was also chosen as one of the top three studios by Ninevolt readers in 2003. Tom has recorded literally hundreds of bands from the Mid-Atlantic region. Tom has recently finished producing works for, 710OIL, Days Difference, AS-1, Motorpsychic, Nemesis, Born Standing, Broken Mind, Under1Condition and Blindfolds Aside. Tom worked with Sylvia Massy Shivy (Prince, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down) and Jim Anderson ( Days Difference, Mindset, Fall of Transition) on Revery's National debut "Avarice & Absolution" released by EVO Recordings in 2006.
