I'd like to meet:
We would like to meet female filmmakers, writers, directors, editors, cinematographers, and actresses. Or filmmakers of any gender who have made films relevant to women.
Also we would like to meet audience members interested in seeing and supporting cutting edge cinema created by or about women.
We would like to meet people interested in supporting women's health and future health advancements and research.
The festival screens documentaries, animations, feature films, short comedies and dramas. Also the festival has the following special showcases each year:
International Women's Filmmaker Showcase.
Baltimore and DC Women's Filmmaker Showcase
Music:
We are looking for cool and forward thinking sponsors to advertise during the festival. Please email [email protected] for more information
Movies:
Movies at festival must have a woman involved in some capacity. But men are welcome too. Criteria are as follows:
Film is Directed (or Co-Directed) by a Woman
Film is Produced by a Woman
Screenplay of film is written (or Co-Written) by a Woman
Film is Edited by a Woman
The DP of the Film is a Woman
The film has an outstanding performance by an actress or actresses
The Animator of the Film is a Woman
*Films with topics that deal with women's issues are, of course, appropriate for submission regardless of gender.
