Marco Rosano

Marco Rosano is an italian (Turin) contemporary composer whose work covers many musical types: classical, film, dance and theatre, advertising, children’s lullabyes, and even an album of ’60 pop songs.
In rock and pop projects, he combines the roles of composer, arranger and producer.
His last project, "Analog Bach", is an album of Baroque music, made entirely with an analogue Rhodes Chroma synthesiser.
Marco Rosano’s setting of the Stabat Mater reveals his love for Baroque music, a passion he shares with leading countertenor Andreas Scholl. Marco Rosano is also currently working on a Requiem, also in close collaboration with Andreas Scholl.
The Marco Rosano's Stabat Mater has been performed in Sydney by the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra conducted by Paul Dyer and Andreas Scholl in February 2008.
With Isabelle Arnal, he created the "Popmachine" band.
With Paolo Modugno he created the "BROtheRS" band.
