About Me



Marie Saintonge is a world music flute player and composer. She plays professionally in different groups of Brazilian, African, and Arabic, jazz, classical, pop, hip-hop, lounge, traditional folk music and all Latin and Caribbean styles. She is also preparing her second album named Hawazone, which is a mix between all those styles. In the concept of the Hawazone, Marie explores the special zone of extraordinary and universal moments in our life. She also continuously works to increase her knowledge of flutes from different cultures and world music traditions. She currently study with Pedro Eustache, a specialist in world flutes based in Los Angeles touring all over the world with worldwide renown artist such as Ravi Shankar, Paul Mc Cartney, Yanni and Gogoosh.
