About Me

The NSW Human Rights & Security Network are activists who campaign on human rights abuses in the "War on Terror."

Close Guantanamo and end illegal detention in 2008!

Be a part of the largest orange jumpsuit action in Australia's history. Join Amnesty International members at 8am to get your jumpsuit, put it on and take part in the photo shoot at 8:30am. We will represent the approximately 300 detainees in Guantanamo on the steps of the US Consulate.

Amnesty International National Director Claire Mallinson will call for the US to immediately close Guantanamo and end illegal detention. In our jumpsuits we send the message to end the human rights violations and close Guantanamo.

Disclaimer: We are members of Amnesty International Australia and we endeavour to provide information that is as accurate as possible. However, the primary purpose of our myspace is to communicate with people we would otherwise not reach in order to promote the Human Rights & Security Campaign. For official Amnesty research, positions on specific issues and media materials, please visit the Amnesty International Australia website.
