Who am I ? ( I just landed home in New York, finally!! Catching up.. Miss you all so much. xo Jeniff

About Me

..
My sons just turned 21 and 19. Really cool kids. Chris is a very talented dancer, martial artist and now doing more dancing in LA. Jeremy is a brainic who loves to have fun and spending his gap year in Beijing trying to experience life. So I am an international mum trying to do what they like including being here. But I can't catch up with Jeremy. He moves to Facebook also which has so many complicated toys in it...LOL. And don't tag me for New York. This year I am traveling quite a bit so everywhere is home. : ))About me? That will take hours for an old lady. 5'4" 110 lb. A chinese with a little Thai blood. Nice, intelligent, kind, hardworking and fun to be with. People always told me to write a book because i lived in so many places and went thru a lot. Ups and downs too that let me grow. Finally coming out from my chinese nutshell to become a modern woman and global citizen of the 21st century. I can tell stories after stories after living in New York, Toronto, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Jakarta and Singapore, and experienced even special moments like earthquakes, Indonesian turnmoil, Internet bubble, the 911 in New York (not kidding, I literally arrived NY that week and moved into a building just a few blocks away from the World Trade Center on 9/10 at 10 pm to be 'in the moment' the next morning). Even recently, I almost got ran over by a truck in the rain when i slipped and went under the truck. But with God's magic wand, somehow I did a Jackie Chan stunt and came out in one piece even the truck kept going. God is really watching me. It took me a while to learn how to take in all his messages.
What do I do? Who am I? Someone living a full life working towards my dreams. It is not the destiny, but the journey, isn't it? (More about me in my BIO - pls see blog)
Children are our future. Let's love them and nuture them. Below is a video from a recent event my OBDW team did for the WATF project of Paul Weston. A wonderful performance of BBx8 from Sweden and Little Companion Arts Troupe of Shanghai Children Palace of Soong Ching Ling Foundation. More are available at www.myspace.com/musicwithobdw

My Interests

Designing, decorating, painting, cooking, dancing, singing and going to movies. Love swimming, and biking in the gym. Used to lead act in highschool a lot but couldn't afford to do so now. Maybe with the right opportunity and the right timing, i will again. These days I fell in love with my computer and am having so much fun with the arts.My biggest interest however....is my children, Chris and Jeremy.

Myspace Falling Objects

Would like to specially introduce a distinguished artist friend I admire - Mr. Gheorghe Astileanu. I love his exceptional art work, and most of all, his spirit and his devotion of his life to the world of art, to love and to benefit more people. Check out Gheorghe's page at myspace.com/gheorghe_astileanu and myspace.com/painterofthepope. All the best to Gheorghe, with much love and respect!!

Music:

Rock and roll, pop, classical, still like Asian music. With good music, my body and mood will dance right away.

And I could not believe there exist such cute song written by the white world about the chinese. I have my chinese blood but I am not offended at all for being tiny...at least we have plenty more that we are famous for in the song. LOL. That's the good thing of being a global citizen myself now. We accept every individual as what they are no matter which part of the world they are from. All we care for is love for the people. Enjoy this cute song from Georgia's Three Monkey Production that is a hit of the month on Myspace. You will smile....Monty Python's I Like Chinese

Movies:

Latest favorates are The Pursuit of Happyness, Memoirs of a Geisha, Mr.& Mrs. Smith. Plus of course, the great movie called 'My Brother' just produced by my talented friends - Antony Lover, David Basch and Gregory Segal - "Two Brothers, one soul"!! Their DVD is available now.

Television:

I love kids. Working on something fun hoping the kids can learn without getting killed by the heavy text materials. And hopefully something the old folks will enjoy also.

This is one of the most amazing show that I love, from Jerome Murat. Enjoy: Jerome Murat

Books:

Old lady like me hates reading except for enjoyment (ha, but sometimes for work -no choice. lol). Text books and serious stuff are what i fall asleep with. Don't know how I swallowed in a couple degrees from the top biz schools. I suppose when we have to, we have to. I am actually more proud of being graduate of Parsons, FIT and NY Film Academy which required little books but play and play with passion and talents. But i always tell my kids, we have to put every ounce of our energy into good dreams of our lives. Be it to be the best lawyer, or the best artist, our loved ones will always be there to cheer for us.

Heroes:

James Bond 007 - love that sexy cool character, Bill Gates - admire his intelligence, vision and values, Oprah, certain special people in my life, my parents, and my coolest Chris and Jeremy!!!!

All children will be global citizens and they are our heroes in the future!! Love them and nurture them.
