I was once told that we write to live life twice
- in the past and in the present.
I was also told that God gives us memory so that we may smell roses in December.
Perhaps this explains why I enjoy writing, make new friends and cherish the old.
I'm blessed to play a small part of 13 Minutes
- a national, artistically-beautiful magazine for and about English-speaking Asians,
and for those interested in Asian culture, music, art, fashion, cuisine and traveling.
13 serves as a forum for the young and young at heart
to come together to express,
to appreciate the differences and beauty in all of us.
In the same way, I believe we are here because we know we all share
the same hope and dreams that, through art,
we'll bridge the gap among us.
Allow me to coin John Lennon's words:
"... I hope some day you'll join us."
