I am a licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese medicine (acupuncture and herbs) in both California and Arizona. I have been doing healing work since 1987. I graduated in 1987 from the International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego--a 1,000 hour program. Later I went on to get a BA in Holistic Health Education at San Francisco State University. In 1998 I received a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from a four year graduate school, the Meiji College of Oriental Medicine in San Francisco, California.
I now practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. I have worked and studied with several well-know acupuncturists from the San Francisco Bay Area: Angela Wu and Dr. Lifang Liang, both experts in gynecology and fertility. I have also studied various forms of qigong and breathwork with Dr. Wang, Dennis Lewis, Bruce Kumar Frantzis, and Mantak Chia. I studied Chi Nei Tsang with Mantak Chia and Gilles Marin.
In 1999 I co-established a clinic called SOMA Wellness Clinic in San Francisco (near Moscone Center) where I practiced until March 2001. In 2001 I completed a course in Homotoxicology, a form of European homeopathic medicine by Heel, Inc., a well-known German homeopathic company (Traumeel, Zeel products).
I volunteered acupuncture treatments at two Bay Area community clinics: Charlotte Maxwell Clinic--cancer clinic and The Women's Community Clinic.
