Since its' conception and floatation we have seen an odd bunch walk through our hallowed doors; big ones, small ones, loud ones, funny ones, ones we shall never speak of and ones that will forever be a footprint in Safe as Milk's history. But this is just the beginning, Safe as Milk has got a beefheart sized future and if the first 4 months have been anything to go by the captain himself would be proud.
A little more about the night... The venue is The Old Ship, a beautifully hidden treasure just off Mare Street in the tropics of Hackney. Our beer is cheap and our acoustics are first rate, (it's hard to know what's more important to a successful night these days.) either way you are assured of fulfilment. We're a FREE ENTRY night and we like people to come for a good time, so... if you wanna be in a sterile appreciation zone, we're probably not for you...But, that's not to say the music is not paramount and with out the outstanding talent we have on stage, Safe as Milk would cease to be... (safe)
