iii) The tale of the millionth customer, the ‘luckiest’ consumer in the west… but… being a winner shoots him to the top of every blipvert, spam, door-to-door, dodgy dealing tele-sales campaign there is. Advertigo...THE SHOW 2007:.Products are everywhere, filling every space and consuming not only the systems time and money, but also the space inside you, the peoples heads.
The pods control everything, sending out new ads to replace the old ads even before you’ve seen the old ads, piling ad upon ad upon ad upon ad…..
And what of us, the people? Wouldn’t all our worries be solved if we could be the lucky winner of something, anything, to lift us out of our life and away to the fairytale island life of never-worry…..
But this is a story of just such a winner, the millionth customer, a normal customer who was in the right place and the right time to be a winner, but the prize that he won wasn’t the prize he was expecting, in fact his prize blew the lid off his world and very nearly killed him as it took him head to head and inside the world of the pods, spinning him and shaking him, whirling him into a mad frenzy of advertigo………..
