Cliff n Prue formed in the beginning months of 2006. After being in several bands (Jeff-The Blueberries-Troubadour) over the past 5 years, we decided to give it a go alone and strip everything back down to acoustic guitar, violin and vocals. Taking in our eclectic influences from the British Indie scene to our love of Americana folk, blues and country music, we try to create something a little different. Since we have started out we have now added bass and drums giving us more to work with which gives us another string to our bow.
So, we started out gigging around Cambridge and most of our gigs were with the Jazz/Funk band Loose Juice (good friends of mine). This, of course led to a lot of parties and much fun was had. Then, Prue discovered Rich (drummer) was very lovely indeed and quickly discovered that the feeling was mutual. This led to lots more parties, dating, true love and a pregnant Prue!! And this led to nearly a year off, lots of sick, and i had time to sort things out ready for our return. So, one year later and baby Minnie is here and we are ready to get our teeth firmly stuck into the music scene!
