Born in Cambridge, England in 1978, Jonny Brading began playing drums at the age of 12. At this early age, his parents recognized his natural rhythmical and musical abilities and were anticipating and supporting the means to feed his hunger for more drum knowledge.
After completing secondary school he spent time playing with Canadian band, Highstreet & on the London Musical Theatre circuit while also studying at Drumtech. He decided to move back to Cambridge to continue playing with various artists and studying with Chris Maitland. Jonny has had the privilege of playing with various musicians across Europe and is constantly a first-call musician for artists and bands.
Jonny is recognized for his versatile, energetic, and expressive approach toward the drums and consistently builds his reputation by ways of his hard work. Currently, Jonny is working with Summerhouse, The Joyful Noise/Neil Cowlan, Gil Karpas, Rebecca Heyne trio, Dan Collins, Citizen Band Radio & most recently Holly Lerski.
