Adorno Stone

About Me

It’s been three years since Adorno Stone stepped out and played their american influenced pop/rock to a packed Essex venue. Since then, the band have gone from strength to strength, playing across London and the South East at venues like the 12 Bar Club in Denmark Street, the Purple Turtle, Camden and supporting The Stranglers at 2006’s Braintree Rock festival.
2007 has seen Adorno Stone add guitarist Neil Wilson to the already established line-up of Keith Porter on piano and vocals, Jay Cresswell on bass and James Lewis on drums. Neil’s unique style of playing has allowed the band to further push the boundaries of the pop/rock genre that they are firmly in.
Songwriter Keith’s influences are evident in the band’s sound – Train, Hootie and the Blowfish and Dave Matthews are all given gentle nods of appreciation, but the varied influences of the other band members takes the sound in different directions, whilst sticking to the demands of the radio crowd.
2007 has allowed the band to focus on songwriting and recording, and after attracting the attention of Killer Media, the band are now represented by Scott Robinson, formerly of 5IVE, and Chris Brooks of Capital Radio.
Armed with an album’s worth of new material, 2008 looks set to be a year to remember for Adorno Stone.
