Rob W Jackson describes his music as soundtracks to little movies in your head. Quite fitting then, that he was once asked to provide the haunting instrumental backdrop as Tricia Dingle's dead body was wheeled away during a dramatic close to an episode of the 3rd most popular soap in the UK - Emmerdale.
All the stuff you hear is the sound of just one guitar put through various pedals and effects and looped in realtime. It's actually easier done than said.
Rob used to play with The Broken Family Band, still plays with Boo Hewerdine from time to time, and once did a solo gig at The Royal Albert Hall in front of 4,000 bemused Paul Carrack fans.
