Hi there and welcome to my patch here on myspace. I'm a singer, songwriter and guitarist. Sometimes I even do all three of these things at the same time. The vibe is acoustic / folk / soul / indie / insert meaningless label here. Its stripped back, raw, honest, hopeful . . . I hope it strikes a chord.As you can hear and see below the new EP is out!!! Band Members: Kris Morris (vox + guitar) and Mark Parrott (guitar + bv's) and for the Little Light EP we were very lucky to have hands on rockin' producers in the form of Matt (double bass + bv's + wurlitzer + flugelhorn) and Dan Weeks (nashville strung guitar + drums).
Influences: Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, U2, Oasis, Neil Finn, You Am I, Beck, Paul Kelly
Sounds Like: Imagine a dark night and a slippery, wet road. Imagine a plethora of music legends driving in the same vicinity on this night (say for possibly a music awards night or the like). Now imagine a nasty car crash involving Liam Gallagher, Neil Finn, Ryan Adams, Bono, Beck, David Bowie, Johnny Borrell and Keith Richards. Continue on in this vein and imagine that in their long, painful quest for physical rehabilitation they are drawn together and start writing beautiful, weird, fun, heartfelt music together. If you can dig all that then you know exactly what I sound like.
