About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorI was born and raised in the 'lovely' town of Portsmouth, I am a qualified journalist and I’m currently weighing up my options…work full time in house somewhere or try to make money from freelancing and shift work, that is the question. They say never to trust a journalist, but you can trust me I'm nice! I’m a regular contributor for Black Velvet and an online music magazine called Room 13, my work has also been published in the likes of Chat, Big Cheese and TOTP.I enjoy going to gigs, seeing my friends, chilling out, I probably spend a bit too much time and money in the pub although I’m not quite an alcoholic…YET. I’ve got really into comedy gigs again recently so I’ve been spending a fair amount of time making trips to shady little comedy clubs where I laugh my socks off, and for some reason always seem to get picked on, but I guess that’s just all part of the fun! Here's my worldly advice, don't get hit in the face by a guitar, it hurts! Trust me I know! The A-Z of Tara - ambitious, bass chick, caring, dizzy, enthusiastic, funny (sometimes), ginger, happy, innocent, joker, kind, loyal, meat is murder, nice, open, positive, quiet, rascal, stupenddous, truthful, unique, vegetarian, warm, young, zany. Yes I'm well aware I missed out X, but I cant come up with an adjective beginning with X.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

If I never meet another person I'd be happy knowing that I've met some awesome people and have some bloody great friends.

Music:

I like a little bit of everything but the main type of music I listen to is punk/rock. My Favourite bands include HIM, Sugarcult, Never Heard Of It, BFS, AFI and Steriogram. I love bands to give great live performances, and sound as good live as what the do on the CD.

Movies:

My favourite film is the Labyrinth, an absolute classic, not to mention Gremlins, She-Ra, The Crow, The Goonies, Zoolander (and Mean Girls). Of course the good old classic Disney films have to get a mention and anything with Will Smith in is always good (Not that I'm shallow). This would be a good point to say, how good is The Pursuit Of Happyness, if you haven't seen it yet, go!

Television:

My favourite shows are Diff'rent Strokes, The Fresh prince of Bel-Air, Lost, Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Graham Norton and Crocodile Hunter... Steve Irwin is a legend! And Neighbours, of course! I am proud to say that I have never watched Big Brother!.. width="425" height="350" ..

Books:

My favourite books have to be by Dave Pelzer, A child called It, The Lost Boy and A man named Dave. They are such amazing books; I recommend that everybody reads them! Another great book is Graham Norton's autobiography, So Me, check it out! At the moment I'm reading I'm With The Band - Confessions of a groupie.

Heroes:

.. width="425" height="350" ..The man, the legend - Steve Irwin And you guys!

What a day!

Yesterday started off in a very confusing manner, I woke up at 6.30 in a blue haze realising that in my drunken state on Tuesday night I'd turned my UV light on and not turned it off before crashing o...
