HELLO!My name is Sam. I play music. Rabbits are good and I think I definitely want to live in Canada when I'm older. I played almost exactly 200 shows in 2007. I play in venues, peoples' living rooms and outdoors at festivals. It's like an indie cottage industry. Friends do my artwork, make my recordings and run around with my mailing list. We do all the driving. In January 2007 I released the "Sticker, Star and Tape" mini-album. Its got 9 full band-type songs on. In April 2007 I released a split 10" vinyl single with Luke Leighfield on Sam Duckworth's Mannequin Republic label. In December 2007 I released my debut single "Sideways" on BSM/Alcopop! You can buy these things from and stuff like t-shirts from my ONLINE SHOP .I played the BBC Electric Proms in November 2007, playing with Edwyn Collins and then going on the BBC Introducing Tour. I've played at fun festivals like Great Escape, Wireless, Glastonbury, Latitude and Truck. I've done sessions for Huw Stephens (Radio 1), Janice Long (Radio 2) and John Kennedy (XFM). I've had my songs played by Jo Whiley, Zane Lowe, Colin Murray, Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens on Radio 1, and also by John Kennedy and Steve Harris on XFM.I've played with lots of other bands and artists in the last few months. Some I liked, some I didn't. But it's scene points isn't it? I have shared a stage with Tellison, Dave House, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Polytechnic, Luke Leighfield, Scouting For Girls, Frank Turner, Pigeon Detectives, Goodbooks, Ben's Brother, Kate Walsh, and Walter Schreifels amongst others.
