About Me
Born on August 27th 1967 in Bolzano Italy, started learning music at the age of seven. Switched to drums at the age of twelve. Studied in Bologna Italy, and in year 1990 in New York City at the Drummers Collective with Kim Plainfield, Michael Lauren among others.
Began work as a professional drummer..instructor in early 90's. Toured and recorded first with local bands, then joined the RUDY ROTTA BAND and toured Italy, Europe and U.S for a couple of years. In the late 90's started working in the italian pop scene, recording and touring with artists like SYRIA, CRISTIANO DE ANDRE', BIAGIO ANTONACCI, DAVIDE DE MARINIS, MARCO MORANDI, TOSCA, RUDY MARRA. Worked in many theatre gigs such as JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, EVITA, WEST SIDE STORY, or original shows like STEEL, ROCKQUIEM. Currently major projects are THE SUGAR BLUE BAND, with Grammy Award Winning harp hero Sugar Blue, IL SUONATORE JONES, tribute band to Italy composer..artist Fabrizio De Andrè, BEST AND BLUES POWER, with italian blues artist Maurizio "Best" Bestetti, LYNN, Italy's new wonderful songrwriter and performer Linda Franceschini.
