Acoustic Eclectic

Raising the vibration

About Me

Acoustic Eclectic is a new venture for 2007. The launch night was Wednesday 3rd January 2007.The night is held every Wednesday in the intimate candlelit setting of the Q Inn, Market St, Stalybridge, Cheshire and hosted by Jon Orpheus and assisted by Helena Rainbow and Iain Red Hat Taylor. The Tameside area of North West England is a hotbed of musical talent, particularly the acoustic variety. We are committed to tapping into that by inviting along some of the most interesting and ECLECTIC musicians from the immediate area and beyond to entertain, to perform, to jam, to pretty much anything.musicians, singers, poets, performers and audience are all welcomeadmission is free, small amps by prior arrangement only! Please arrive early for the 8.30 pm prompt start, seating is limited as we have been enjoying a near full house every week! Finish time is 11.15pm.We have a special guest each week who will play up to eight songs and an open mike for other performers who get two songs each! The night has picked up to the point of almost legendary status already and long may it continue.

There are now videos of some of our guests playing live at Acoustic Eclectic on the vids page. Enjoy!
