About Me

Pete Greenfield likes to sing, write songs and play acoustic guitar in no particular style. Anything else is just a hype really. Band Website: COMING SOON !
Band Members: Pete Greenfield usually plays solo, acoustic guitar and vocals, occasionally joined on stage by Mr Top Hat, percussion. The song 'In A Thousand Years' features the legendary LSDean on lead guitar. The song 'The Last Train Home' features Robin Sunflower on chromatic harmonica. 'Come On Down' features One Take Steve on trumpet. Look out for more collaborations....
Influences: I've listened to all kinds of stuff over the years, some of it great, some of it dread! I'm not sure that I'm particularly influenced by any of the great acts I like, with the possible exception of Neil Young of course.I like everything from Bob Marley to the Cinematic Orchestra to Slayer so there you go..although I don't do too much headbanging these days, haven't got the hair for it...I'm much more likely to be influenced by all the great local musicians who keep me both sane and entertained around the Manchester area, check 'em all out on my friends list....... ..ACOUSTIC ECLECTIC the CD (featuring Pete Greenfield's 'A Song For Today' and 16 other great tracks), available from Mind, TOPAZ CENTRE, Katherine Street, ASHTON-U-LYNE. £5, proceeds to MIND.
