MANCHESTER CITY LIFE (A little out of date now- not many traditionals and has become MUCH more visual and passionate!) ************************************************************ ************************************************ Started off many years ago with a mission to educate younger people into the realms of folk music... Flirted with protest songs and political statement songs, before finding my feet better as a songwriter. Now I sing about being drunk, devious women, subversions, perversions and manipulations. In short...life! And if I’m feeling really vindictive, the odd old folk song might start coming out too! ************************************************************ ************************************************ The usual line up is me on guitar and vocals, and Stu on Sax and Clarinet, sometimes other musicians get involved on double bass or percussion (depending on the gig), and the set often consists of us intimidating the audience, prancing about the stage, and putting on a show for however long they can stand! ************************************************************ ************************************************ We’ve got rough demo recordings up here, but we’re just getting together an album at the moment, watch this space- should be fantastic! Looks like it will be- sounding great so far! Stef.
