About Me

music producer /writer: TREY MILLS
Trey Mills is one of Canada's most successful producers and young buisness men. If you are a singer, artist or band you may want to consider hiring Trey to bring you international exposure. If you have great songs, a great voice and a great stage presence, please contact us through myspace!
About Trey...
Over the past few years, Trey Mills has risen to the top ranks of the music industry, having Produced 10 Top 30 (or better) hits. He has written seven Top 30 national-BDS hits and reached Number 1 on various charts, countdowns, and request lines. He has also mixed 9 songs that have reached National Top 30. Very few (perhaps no one else) Producers have simultaneously hit the National Urban, Rock and Classical charts as Trey has. His greatest interest is developing fresh talent and seeing them get national exposure for the first time. Trey's musical background is varied and he is interested in working with all genres.
Most recently Trey Produced and Mixed the 3 Billboard (USA) CD "High Society", a dixieland styled CD for the Canadian Brass featuring Drummer Denton Whited (Philosopher Kings) playing pots, pans and cardboard boxes along with a junior (ages 3-5) drumset. The music was arranged by the late Luther Henderson who worked along side Duke Ellington for many years.
Other highlights include writing/producing songs for the US hit television shows "Soul Food", “Tilt”, “Degrassi, the next generation”, the World Cup of Soccer (USA vs. Brazil etc.) Trey also has numerous credits including: producing/mixing songs found on compilations such as NOW 9, PURE ENERGY, SMASH HITS, PLANET POP etc. Also, as Producer and Engineer, Trey worked on the Canadian Brass' 5.1 surround Sound DVD "Amazing Brass" which received critical acclaim by US Billboard Magazine.
MORE COOL INFO!
As Pre-Mastering Engineer, Trey's credits include Michael Jackson, Boyz 2 Men, Jodeci, Pat Metheny and many more.
Trey programmed synths for Greg Lake of Emerson Lake and Palmer (ELP) in the late 90's. ELP were largely responsible for bringing synths such as the Minimoog and others to popular music in the 1970's.
Trey had the unique pleasure of playing John Lennon's white apartment sized piano complete with cigarette burns on the right corner as the piano was auctioned for charity at the CN Tower in Toronto Canada.(It was bought by George Michael)
As a teenager, Trey won a CMPA (Canadian Music Publisher's Association) Award, Q-107's Scott Liddle National Songwriting Competition, and a US Billboard Special achievement Award.
