A composer and producer of singular versatility and innovation, Toronto native DANY KANE was on course to study saxophone performance at Berklee College on scholarship when he opened his own recording studio, Tha Hook Empire. Tapping into his fifteen year love affair with song writing and production, Kane took off running and didn't look back.
Mere months later, Kane expanded his operations with the introduction of Pillbox. This record label rapidly made its mark within the Tribal and Progressive House scene, with the release of "Raindrop" cementing Kane's status as an eminent creator of harder original tracks. Setting off the domino chain, Kane shortly found himself remixing the Frankie Goes To Hollywood favorite "Relax" for Peter Rauhoffer, followed by several other remix tracks including "Hide U" and "Tranbal". Catching drift of this rising success, Stealth Records signed Dany Kane, through which he partnered with Roger Sanchez and the UK's Defected Records to release the club anthems "Melodia" and "Pounding Your Soul". More recently, Dany Kane has produced, remixed for, and collaborated with several artists such as X-Quisite, Danny Howells, and Yakudo.
