Phil is a Senior Mastering Engineer at Lacquer Channel, Canada’s Premiere Mastering Facility. His eleven years’ experience as an engineer has earned him the reputation being one of Canada’s most in-demand technicians. Gibson SG's, Flying V's, greasy-moustache tunes from the 70's, big amps, NYC, L.A. and other big US cities, Mastering studios, horror/cult movies, old black & white movies, Rudy Ray Moore, Old-school Metal, Early 80's American Hardcore, The Beatles, distance running, old hi-fi stereos, comic books/video games, deep fried sweet stuff!, strong coffee, spending time with my wife and new baby.

Movies:

Dolemite, Wild At Heart, The Thing, Nosferatu, etc - just too many. But a whole lot of other normal movies as well. Also silly over-the-top stuff too like Trailer Park Boys & Johnny Knoxville

Television:

Public Broadcasting, CNN, Discovery Channel, Much Music, Boxing. But I like the internet, youtube much better for now...

Books:

The latest and greatest net PDF's, retire rich books, cook books, natural health, etc... But keep the books and gimme those magazines....

Heroes:

People who have worked hard to get to the top of their game but still feel like they have a long way to go. The humble but deadly type.
