SHAWN, a college student from Cleveland, falls in love with a Chaldean girl named Crystal. They both attend a local University in Detroit. Shawns Cousin MARK, a local street thug, warns him to leave those kinds of girls alone because their families will not permit it. Shawn refuses and has to hide his romance from everyone.ABE attends the same University as Shawn and on occasions they hang out together with the same circles. Abe is Middle Eastern and comes from a wealthy Islamic family. He likes to flout his wealth with his fancy cars and clothing. He dates a lot of different women on campus; White, Asian, Mexican but never Middle Eastern. He dates An African American girl name NIKI who is Marks sister. Abe finds himself becoming closer and closer to Niki and tries to hide his feelings from her and his friends.They have to also hide their romance from everyone. Abes family start to realize he is spending to much time with Niki and demands that he stops and tells him he has sown his oaks enough and she start planning to receive his Islamic bride.Crystals father ROBERT finds out about their romance and explains to his daughter about their cultural traditions and that he has offered someone else her hand to marry. She disobeys as Shawn is jumped by a group of Chaldean guys who try to kill him. He barely makes it away with his life. He witnesses Crystals cousin and brother forcing her into the car as they drive her away. Shawn has several bruises on his face as he tries to make a few attempts to see Crystal. He is not successful as she finally tells him they cannot be together because of their race. Mark finds out that his sister Niki is dating Abe and tells her to leave him alone before someone gets hurt. She refuses and continues to date him behind everyones back. Mark tries to convince Shawn to help him find this Arab guy that is dating his sister so they can beat him down. Shawn is hurt over what has happened to him and decides to roll with his cousin Mark. He does not know the guy he is looking for is his friend Abe until it is to late.Shawn, Abe, Crystal and Niki all find themselves having to make a decision weather to respect their familys wishes and traditions or theyre own hearts.This film will teach, preach and entertain the masses about the cultural differences of the Islamic religion, Chaldean Christian religion and the similarities of these people of color living in Americas melting pot.FootWork Productions Story by & Produced by Gabrielle Jones Screenplay by Dina DunhamSynopsisToni is an aspiring female producer working as an account executive in Detroit. She lands a deal to create a hot new dance to be featured in music videos nation wide. While staging auditions all over the city, Toni comes across numerous different dances inspired by a diverse group of people. The winners get a chance to star in the music video featured at the end of the movie. In the meantime, she runs into her high school crush Maxx, a hot-bodied motorcyclist whom Toni can't resist. While trying not to break her rule of all work and no play, she recognizes that he still has all the right moves on and off the bike, dancing "The Jit", a dance that Toni recalls from junior high school. The talented performers that the auditions bring astound Toni. Among them is Johnnie, an attractive street minded teen that belongs to a group who believe they have mastered this hot dance. The battle is on when Johnnie challenges Maxx for the spot in the video. Toni dismisses Johnnie and his friends due to the obscene nature of their performances. While holding new shows and auditions, Johnnie crashes one of the performances and steals the show. After witnessing this, Toni then decides to give them a chance to clean up their act.
