Join us for the renewal of gay cultural ambition.
RIP Tallulah, who died over Easter. An inspiration to us all, and the first inductee into the House of Homosexual Culture Hall of Fame in 2007. We miss you.
The House of Homosexual Culture enters its third year with a programme that continues to explore the shared cultural heritage of lesbian and gay people through a programme of events, activities and salons.
In previous seasons, we delved into the history of queer pop and beefcake photography, we dissected drag through a unique live performance and trawled through the TV archives with the BFI.
We've celebrated the role of "homo homemakers" in our fabulous annual Fayres - 1000 queers in a church baking, knitting, singing, dancing and pickling. We've inducted the legendary DJ Tallulah into our own "Hall of Fame" with a gala event at the glorious Bush Hall. In May 2007 we were invited to programme a month of Saturdays at our favourite south London club, Duckie.
See the blog (above) called "Archive" for a full list of what we've done.
