Mark Moore shot to fame as the driving force behind the dance/sampling pioneers S-EXPRESS with the number one hit "The Theme from S-Express". Today his notoriety has been reinforced not only by S-Express and his subsequent string of hit records and remixes blah, blah,blah...

long winded rant about DJ stardom, blah ... played at the legendary MUD Club... blah blah... Heaven/Pyramid nightclub... one of the first supporters of Chicago house music and Detroit techno in the UK who mixed it with electronic European dance music (such as Yello, Soft Cell and Cabaret Voltaire) ... Shoom club ...thank gawd we’ve cut this down a bit... mustn’t go too over the top... acid house Messiah... worldwide fame and fortune... Muzik magazine citing "Theme From S-Express" as kick-starting the UK house scene... Jockey Slut magazine making Mark one of their "Heroes of House Music"... first album "Original Soundtrack"... worked on tracks with Billie Ray Martin ... William Orbit... Philip Glass... playing a cameo role on the "French and Saunders" show...

second album "Intercourse"... worked with the singer Sonique... Carl Craig... ran three labels in the nineties: Splish, Stylofiction and Bone... and now the launch of new label Umami Records (mid 2005)... I hate typing... remix and production work such as Prince, Malcolm McLaren, Seal, Randy Crawford, Safron (Republica), Dead Or Alive, Hot Skates 3000 (Billie Ray Martin), Divine, Erasure ... shall I mention this band here? ... can’t be bothered actually... leave it...

hosting his London nightclub Electrogogo which features key electro/rock bands from the scene along with DJs as varied as Marc Almond, Carl Craig, Arnaud Blackstrobe, Bobby Gillespie from Primal Scream, Asia Argento... that bit sounds good... wonder what’s on telly? ...

You can find Mark playing a mix of electro-disco and whatever else he fancies, blah blah in UK clubs such as Electrogogo, Boom Box, Nag Nag Nag, Circus, The Cock, Death Disco in Glasgow, The Faceparty, The 333 Club, Wall Of Sound’s Sic @ Fabric, The ICA and Torture Garden to name a few... played in Berlin (Rio Club, Berlin Insane Festival, Sage), Regensburg, Rio, Sao Paulo, Istanbul, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, Budapest, Paris (Respect, Dimuschi, Paris Paris, Showcase, La Flèche d’Or, Kill The DJ, Redlight), Marseilles, Montpellier, Cannes, St Tropez, Rome, Vienna, Moscow, Ibiza, Tokyo, Culture Club in Ghent and so on and so on... probably been to Bognor Regis and East Grinstead too... Did the first ever official Electro tour of Australia a few years back with Princess Julia... He’s played for everyone from Psychic TV and Grace Jones to Elton John and Scissors Sisters - the hussy!

Mark writes a weekly column for QX International Magazine with Princess Julia focusing on the alternative dancemusic and club scene around the world...

Recent releases include: Mark Moore & Eon present Sonny Bozo - "Trash The Can"/"BangBang" double A side for Umami Records and a project called UltraViva for Beautycase Records in Berlin... ...

So there you have it. Hope you enjoyed the blurb. Would love to hear any feedback about the tracks or whatever. Would also like to meet everyone of all shapes and shoe sizes - particularly YOU.
