About Me

Homotopia 2008:
1st-30th November, 2008

Homotopia is Liverpool's unique annual celebration of Queer culture. The festival presents three weeks of quality theatre, art, dance, club nights, cabaret, new writing, debate, queer thinking, video, heritage, film and literature. An exciting, ecelectic and dynamic mix of events across a wide number of venues in the city.

Founded in 2004 shortly after Liverpool was awarded the title European Capital of Culture 2008.

The festival started as a pilot project and has quickly become one of Liverpool's huge success stories. Already a major fixture on the city's cultural calender, the festival programmes new and accessible work aimed at LGBT audiences. The festival happens from November 1st until 30th.
