Artie Stix Chavez
started laying down the beats in 1967 as a teen with Tommy Castro.
in the 80's, He was a founding member of the Seattle Rock Band STRUTT witch was the hottest ticket in town .
And also worked in Roger Fisher's ( Heart Guitarist) studio .
in the late 80's. He was a member of the LONG HORN band .
in the 90's Artie was a founding member of the WHOLE BOLIVIAN ARMY another very popular Seattle Band.
Leaving the band to return Home to the S F Bay Area .
And in 2004 Artie began yet another genre of music adding to his arsenal of diversity...
the Blues...
Artie has performed with some of the best Blues Recording Artists in the country including;
Tommy Castro, Sonny Rhodes, Ron Thompson & Leonard Gill ( B.B.KING ), Kenny Neal, Kenny Blue Ray, Danial Castro,Willy G, Chris KID Anderson
and so many other great S F Bay area Musicians.
Artie continues his Blues journey with Ms. Tia Carroll and hard work
