DONNA LYNNE hailing from Reno Nevada is a seasoned vocal performer and is the niece of the late Texas blues guitarist “LITTLE JOE BLUE”. For over two decades she’s travelled the music highway throughout the United States, Canada & Europe delivering her MILD to WILD Earth-shaking stage performances in an array of venue types.
The Donna Lynne show brings a high-energy ultra professional night of great “grown folks” music and terrific showmanship unrolled via a myriad of musical styles that are best suited for the venue. Genres include Blues, Classic Soul, Old School R&B, Jazz, Dance and Disco music, sprinkled with those unforgettable ballads. All given with a heavy dose of “just plain ol’ genuine -from the heart- FUN”
Donna Lynne has performed for an estimated 70,000+ roaring fans while in concert with TV, film-stars and blues men Bruce Willis, Jim Belushi, & Steven Segal. She’s also performed in numerous other star-studded events where she was in concert with, or invited to sang for an impressive list of notable names like: Stevie Wonder, BB King, Tom Arnold, Quincy Jones, Wayne Brady, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Charles Brown, Guitar Shorty, Sharon Stone, Eric Roberts, Coolio, Ice Cube, Ice Tea, Keb Mo, Eric Burden, The Whispers, Evelyn Champagne King, Sean Penn, Donna Douglas, Buddy Ebson, Anne Marie, Natalie Cole, Luther Allison, Cheech & Chong, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Phyllis Diller, Betty White, Roddy McDowel, Angela Bassett, Linda Grey, Brenda Vaccaro, Little Milton, & Luther Allison, Linda Hopkins, the list goes on & on...
Having recently relocated to Las Vegas Nevada, Donna in a very short time has managed to earn the respect and attention of many of the city’s top entertainers, musicians, & agents. She was recently nominated by the American Black Music Academy 2007 as “Best Blues Vocalist”. Other accolades include “Outstanding Vocal Performance & Acting” two years running from the Southern California Motion Picture Society.
Donna Lynne is currently gathering material for her upcoming CD release due out early 2008.
