www.layoutpimper.comMary Oliver best known as Mary "O"; has graced many stages since her childhood beginnings in Houston Texas. Ms. O is a multi-faceted award winning vocal stylist and actress. In 2006 Mary was awarded the BMA award for the “Best Female Blues Artist” of the year.
Other credits include rave reviews for her powerful performances in the Las Vegas Musicals, Theater & Stage Productions: “Divas the Concert” where she pays a riveting tribute to “Billie Holiday” “Girlfriends” where she doubles as “Lena Horne” and “Billie Holiday” “Morae’” A Marimar Production where she pays a breath taking tribute to “Tina Turner” Played “Viney “ in the theater production “The Miracle Worker” Played the leading roll in the theater production “Yes I Can” Played the role of “Anna” in the theater production Golden Boy”.
Be it Jazz, Blues or R&B, Ms. O has performed in just about every major hotel casino on and off the Las Vegas Strip for the past 2 decades. From Chicago to Thailand Mary toured for 2 years with the World Famous Buck Ram Platters as their lead female vocalist. Mary’s also performed at a long list of major blues & Jazz festivals around the US from New Orleans to Victoria Canada. Toured for several years and recorded with the Big Tiny Little orchestra. Opening act credits include; Milton Berle, Rebe Jackson, BB King, & Arnett Cobb.
Mary is now preparing for an upcoming European tour and in the studio working on a new CD project.
