Hailing from Christchurch, nacoa and Flek C are monkeys on a mission. Swinging from club to club, with their cheeky grins and huge choons, expect dancefloor mayhem when these dudes are behind the decks.
nacoa has been djing Nu Jazz Dub Fusion; an eclectic mix of dub, downbeat, lounge, trip hop and all things mellow for over 5 years now, and as of recently has added breaks to his arsenal of beats. His sound is always evolving, but is always funky, with phat bass and a strong kiwi influence, with gigs across New Zealand and Australia, nacoa knows how to work a dnacefloor.
Flek C has been pushing breakbeat and hardcore breaks sound for the last 6 years. Leaning towards the more quirky, dark and edgy side of breakbeat, Flek C's sets are notorious for slap happy cutting, breakbeat filth and a bit of a scratch here and there. He has played support for top international acts including S.C.A.M., Meat Katie, DJ Unknown and DJ Storm.
Not just DJs, nacoa amd Flek C have been producing breakbeat under the alias of MonKey TroUble. Having had local radio play on RDU and Urban Breaks as well as DJ support across the country. The future is looking bright for these young producers.
