About Me

Born and raised in and on New Orleans.....Hanging out and listening to some of the great New Orleans musicians was the best music education in the world.....first trombone inspiration was Uncle Gerry (my mom's younger brother) then Frog Joseph, Louis Nelson, Wendel Eugene....then got lucky to be at the right place at the right time in the right city with the right people.....There is no place like N.O. and growing up there and being around its culture, well enough can't be said about it.....I feel blessed as I haven't any formal music education except maybe taking lessons as a kid and having a good high school band director, "Prof," who inspired me early on.....the real lessons came doing funerals and second lines and hanging around great musicians that only N.O. could produce.....there is a saying we like to use and that is "real New Orleans" and that is what I am....take it or leave it.....lots of musicians come here now and don't get it......man, there are musicians from N.O. that don't get it.....you have to get in the streets and live it and experience it in order to feel it....Ya Heard Me?......I don't need to list where and when and who and what and all that bullshit resume stuff.....its boring anyway.....you either have soul or you don't.....New Orleans has soul....you just need to know where to go to find it.....come follow me and I'll show you where it is......Ya Heard Me?....LOL.................................................. .........................Bonerama....is the band to check out....straight from New Orleans, but with a twist....Brass/Funk/Rock.....all the things that New Orleans is know for.....I think N.O. is the best place in the world to be a musician and its the only place a band like Bonerama could come from.....Bonerama.net.......Bonerama.net......Bonerama.net.. .....BONERAMA.NETYa Heard Me?......................................................... ...............................................
