A Harry Connick, Jr. FanSpace by a Harry fan!

About Me

"All These People" Video
Featuring Kim Burrell
PLEASE NOTE:
This is not actually Harry Connick, Jr., but a FanSpace page in his honor, run by a hopelessly devoted fan. I started this page to show my appreciation to Harry and his work.I know Harry appreciates all the love, support, and feedback his fans and friends have given him over the years, and your comments left here on the page are yet another way you can tell him just how much we love and appreciate him.
Many "imposters" have put up fake profile pages in MySpace Music; some actually posing as Harry, some just to get one of his songs available on a profile. I want Harry to put up a page on here as bad as the next fan; but NO ONE should be on MySpace impersonating OUR HARRY!
Besides honoring Harry, my other goal is to show Harry (and his wonderful manager, Ms. Wilkins) that he has a HUGE following here on MySpace and should put up a real Artist's profile. Your messages and comments here on the FanSpace might help convince him to do just that! So, I thank you (on behalf of Harry) for all your comments of love support!

(courtesy of wikipedia)
Joseph Harry Fowler Connick, Jr. was born on September 11, 1967 to parents Harry and Anita Connick. Harry Sr. became the New Orleans District Attorney (he retired in 2003), and his mother Anita, later became a judge. (Harry lost his mother to ovarian cancer when he was 13).The Connick's owned a record store and encouraged their son's interest in music - piano at age 3, with a New Orleans jazz band age 10. He won piano competitions while playing French Quarter clubs and attending the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. At 18, he studied at New York's Hunter College and later on at the Manhattan School of Music. At 19, he released his first album for Columbia Records and began an extended run performing at the Algonquin's Oak Room, followed a year later by his second album. He wrote the score and sang quite a few of the songs for Rob Reiner's "When Harry Met Sally..." (1989), the soundtrack for which went multi-platinum.The rest, as they say, is history...Harry lives in Connecticut, married former model Jill Goodacre in 1994, and has three daughters, Georgia Tatom, Sara Kate and Charlotte.Who does Harry listen to? According to his 4/23/07 interview, he listens to everybody from Queen to George Jones, to Louis Armstrong to Duke Ellington to Stravinsky. But he also has acquired a taste for Justin Timberlake's hit song, "Sexy Back"!
I will update Harry's biography a bit more when I get the chance. I thought the bare essentials would be a good place to start.

I'd like to meet:

YOU! Anyone who loves Harry as much as I do...(if that's even possible!) Harry has such a wide fan base, people of all ages, (literally, at concerts you will see young children and folks in their 90's alike!)
Harry appeals to such a wide range of folks, both women and men (although "Something You Got", Harry, makes a lot of females quite giddy), people from every type of background, blue-collar workers who could be "Workin' in a Coal Mine" to Corporate Executives, all nationalities, races, colors, creeds, and religions. His music transcends barriers that otherwise would divide people and can bring together folks who would otherwise never give you the time of day.
If Harry has the kind of effect on you as he does on me, the "drop what you're doing and turn up the radio / TV because Harry's on!" effect, or if you simply like his music, then this page is for you!
