Het hallo, bonjour, Grüße, Ciao, Hilsener, Saludos, Shalom, Salam and Welcome to Delton's Myspace!!!!!

"Just Let Me Loose" was written for all the victims and survivors of Katrina.

If Delton “D” Walker seems right at home blowing sax for the audience, it’s because he is. “D” feeds off of the crowd’s energy, and gives back a passionate piece from his soul. His musical roots run deep, from influences like his father Delton Sr., and uncle Oscar Walker (The Dixie Hummingbirds, Florida Robins), to the greats like Otis Redding, The O’Jays, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Gladys Knight, and Sam Cooke. At only nine years of age, “D” started playing drums, and then soon added piano, trumpet, and guitar. He picked up the sax while stationed in Germany. Delton balanced his love of music with his love of sports, playing semi-pro football in both Germany and Norway. After his tour of duty for the Air Force, “D” returned to his native New York where he dabbled in print work. He has worked on commercials for Remy Martin, Newport, and American Express. This versatile musician can also be spotted in various movies or TV shows, like Law & Order, Above the Rim, Cowboy Way, and Carlito’s Way.His debut album, “Just Let Me Loose” has captured airplay at some of the hottest radio shows across the country: KUNV (NV) and www.smoothatlanta.com Delton was recently voted the 1 artist on the Smooth Atlanta (www.SmoothAtlanta.com) station; an impressive feat for an independent musician. “D” says that his inspiration for the title track was the victims and survivors of Hurricane Katrina. He encourages others to support their relief efforts through fundraisers and donations.Over the past few years, “D” has had the honor of playing with many respected artists such as: Marion Meadows, Mr. Wiley Dupont, Tony Hayes, Jam Port Authority band, Anthony Dixon, and the late sax legend, Nate Wiley. Delton credits his first live gig to Mike D., General manager of Jazziz Bistro (www.JazzizBistro.com) in Fort Lauderdale, FL, saying that’s where he, “got the bug” and graciously adds, “Thanks so much.” Delton has recently settled into Pennsylvania after relocating from Florida. Although he is new to Philly, “D” has already caught the attention on the local jazz scene, playing great venues where he is becoming one of the most sought after artists in the region. He has also been hitting select cities on his national tour. When not on the road, Delton is recording his highly anticipated follow up album.
