So I like a good chick flick and a nice glass of wine. I also enjoy a night out with Stu at any good seafood restaurant along the waterfront...with a view! So there - pretty easy to please. Oh and did I mention I like to travel, A LOT! I like doing fun stuff with my family - road trips are great. But living in a house full of guys encourages me to revert back to a good chick flick and a glass of wine.... Did I mention that already?................................Favorite candy..... Godiva Dark Chocolate Key Lime Truffles (oh my gosh)Travel: Last year I went to Vienna, Prague, London, Chicago, NY(x2), Dallas, St Thomas & St John, Arizona, etc etc. Good travel year! Also many concerts and museums!I was just in Arizona and Nassau (Atlantis!) this month!In recent years I have been to - Italy, Turkey, Greece and Spain - as well as wonderful places here in the US. Soak up the art and music baby!Music, classic movies and musicals, traveling and spending oodles of time with my 3 boys and hubby. I admit I do enjoy cooking (good thing because I do that for a living!) and truthfully I love going on a good adventure.People I would have liked to meet: Mel Torme, Ella Fitzgerald, Mack Sennett, Gene Kelly, Danny Kaye and more.People I have MOST enjoyed meeting: Doris Christopher, Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jr., Tim Hauser, Cheryl Bentyne, Alan Paul, Janis Siegel (Manhattan Transfer).Just so you know - I delete long comments that aren't personal (or are forwards) or CD promotions. So sorry about that!Loved the Manhattan Transfer Concert 10/1/6Got to meet everyone after the show and spent some extratime chatting with Tim Hauser! Wow what a fun concert!

My Interests

TRAVEL - MUSIC - ART - Last year I visited the "American in Paris" exhibit in NYC at the Metropolitain Museum of Art and picked up the paperback on Madame X - oh what a great book! I love books about paintings and artists. Last year I also got to see the Van Gogh "Sheaves of Wheat" exhibit at the Dallas Art Museum. Very nice! This year enjoyed the Cincinnati Art Museum (surprise!) it was wonderful! Wish I could have stayed for the Rembrandt show coming in March... ...

Jazz, Opera, Musical Scores, Orchestra, Big Band, Instrumental of all kinds, some pop and mixed stuff, check out my ipod sometime - talk about eclectic mix! I listen to a lot of soundtracks honestly, from movies to broadway shows. My favorite symphonic composer is Antonin Dvorak.Check out my most recent art project (and listen to Mark's new cd!) .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..

Movies:

The Painted Veil, Pride and Prejudice - both recent versions, Bridget Jones, The Importance of Being Earnest, 13 going on 30, The English Patient, Star Wars, QUOTEABLE movies like: Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Princess Bride, Caddyshack, Joe Vs The Volcano, Groundhog Day, When Harry Met Sally, etc, etc.Of course there are also the classics and all the old musicals that I love... Gone with the Wind, Dr Zhivago, Lawrence of Arabia, Kind Hearts and Coronets (I love English films!)Up in Arms, Singing in the Rain, On the Town, White Christmas, Funny Girl, A Song was Born, and on and on...

"WHEN YOU GOT IT - FLAUNT IT!" - from The Producers! AMAZING VOICES - HONDA COMMERCIAL! WATCH IT! TWO OF MY FAVORITE CLIPS and SONGS of all time. My Man and Don't Rain on My Parade ENJOY!

Television:

There is no good television except "Pushing Daisies" and "Three Sheets". And the occasional reality show!

Books:

A good novel - not too long - and it doesn't end too fast. (I hate that!) I loved "Secret Lives of Bees", "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" and books like that. OF course the classics are always a treat, "Pride and Prejudice", "To Kill a Mockingbird" and on and on.... Just read - Bel Canto - and loved it!
