About Me

The new recording, "Holding Back the Dawn" is AVAILABLE NOW. Highlights include several originals as well as music of Pat Metheny, Sting and more.Jake Bergevin is a Seattle area jazz vocalist, trumpeter and band leader. Smooth and swinging jazz performances around the Seattle Area include venues like Tulas, The Triple Door, Pantages Theatre and more. Accomplishments include a Downbeat Award for vocal jazz quartet at age 17, the prestigous Theodore Presser Scholarship while attending Central Washington University (where he earned his Masters in Trumpet Performance). Also numerous recordings and live performances around the northwest for the past 15 years as both a leader and sideman. Jake and his group are featured performers at Northwest jazz festivals and events such as "Jazz in the Valley" Jazz Festival, KPLU Jazz Under the Stars, the "Green River Jazz Festival" and numerous private events.
