Hi, and thanks for stopping by! I've adored the story of Jane Eyre since I was about 12, but for me, no adaptation of it did it justice until the 2006 version. Toby Stephens and Ruth Wilson were superb in their roles; Ruth really WAS Jane, and Toby was a masterful (and gorgeous!) Rochester. Their on-screen chemistry sizzled, and the whole series captured my heart and soul completely! Hope you enjoy the page!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

These video's are three of my favourite scenes. The first is the aftermath of the bedroom fire. I've lost count of the number of times I've watched this scene, and on every occasion, I've forgotten to breathe as Rochester wraps Jane up and pulls her close. They sizzle more than the fire! I also adore it when Jane kisses the hand that held his!The second scene is the proposal. I love the way Ruth really went for it, her crying despair is so real, so heartbreaking. I also love the way Toby reacts to her throughout the entire scene as she pours out her soul. His pain, his love, his torment are as powerful as her despair. The third scene is when they're reunited, such a beautiful, wonderful scene. Excuse the subtitles, it's the only video of this I can find! I can't take my eyes of their faces - Rochester's utter disbelief and joy at Jane's return, and Jane's happiness to be back home with him, is so moving, so gorgeous! Sigh! This fan video telling the whole story is simply stunning, it makes me well up every time!
