Books:
"Sunninghill Snow" by Christine London was written by my friend (we go waaay back) and it's a steamy novella (woo-woo!).
"Hyperspace" by Michio Kaku is for readers that either have a lot of scientific reading under their belt or are very interested in the subject.
"The Man in the Ice" by Konrad Spindler might be boring to many readers, however if you like archaeological detail like I do, this is the quintessential book on the subject.
The Lost Tomb" by Kent Weeks is a riveting journal of the realization that the land of the dead (the east bank of the Nile in ancient times) was not mapped in any way, how this became a new and unexpected career and discusses many of his finds.
"The Parasite Rex" by carl Zimmer is a terrifying yet facinating explanation of what makes things 'tick'.
"The Giza Power Plant" by has plenty of food for thought. Wow! What a cool idea!
"The Tomb of Tutankhamen" by Howard Carter is the once-in-a-lifetime account of the findings Howard Carter found in the only unpillaged tomb of the ancient Egyptians, to date.
Also, anything by Jules Verne, Harry Potter series, and The Adventures of Tintin. Yeah, I know, but come on...we all have things we love from our childhood.
