About Me

I discovered romance novels as a teenager, and fell in love with the genre. It wasn't until my late twenties that I tried penning my own story. My first Regency historical, A DESPERATE GAME was published in February 2000 by Kensington Publishing. I wrote two more books for them: A LADY'S MISCHIEF & A GENTLEMAN AT HEART. Those two books launched my Bedegrayne family series. I changed publishers and continued the series with St. Martin's Press. Those books included: TEMPTING THE HEIRESS & COURTING THE COUNTESS. I'm currently working on the Carlisle series. The first three books are currently available in stores. The next book in the series is SCANDALOUS BY NIGHT. It goes on sale July 29th.

My Interests

Reading romance, collecting old books for research, hiking, cooking, watching good and bad sci-fi movies with my husband, video games (I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil & Final Fantasy series)

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who enjoys a good romance novel. I write Regency historicals, but my reading tastes are pretty eclectic.

Music:

It depends on my mood. I listen to classical while I'm writing. I like to clean to 80's music or anything current I can dance to.

Movies:

The list of favorites is always changing, but I enjoy sci-fi, horror, comedy (stupid men and rabid animals always make me laugh), and period dramas. I've lost count how many times I've watched AMADEUS and THE LAST OF THE MOCHICANS.

Television:

I'm a big Battlestar Galactica fan. Like most great sci-fi series (Farscape . . .Firefly, anyone?) I'm sure it's one step away from being cancelled. I'm also a science and history buff so I'm always checking to see what's on the Discovery or the History channels. Deadliest Catch is an awesome show:) I guess I love shows that have a man vs nature theme. New favs: BBC's Torchwood & Blood Ties.
