BOOK AND SHORT STORY DESCRIPTIONS:
In BETRAYAL :
To save her son and people from a deadly enemy, Lady Katherine Stanfield marries her former betrothed, a man she’d betrayed but has not stopped loving. Katherine has never revealed her reason for the betrayal and now, five years later, believes her secret is safe.
But someone won’t let the past rest. Someone with a secret of his own. And now she must stop that "someone" because he wants Katherine and her new husband dead.
PRAISE FOR BETRAYAL :
"I love a good medieval and Karen Fenech has written a dandy! This one's a keeper."
---NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR KAT MARTIN
". . . An excellent read."
---ROMANTIC TIMES MAGAZINE FOUR STAR REVIEW * * * *
"... medieval romance readers will welcome this fine twelfth century tale. Karen Fenech writes a fun historical romance."
---REVIEWER HARRIET KLAUSNER
In DEADLY THOUGHTS :
What price is too high to achieve a dream? Would you draw the line at murder? Abby Branson never expected to be faced with such a question. But in her single-minded pursuit of her dream, she's sacrificed everything, including her marriage. Now, she just wants back what she had - even if it means giving up her dream forever. But it may be too late to go back. Because one man is already dead. . .
REVIEW OF DEADLY THOUGHTS :
* * * * * How Far Would YOU Go To Make Your Dreams Reality?
Karen Fenech did it again! Deadly Thoughts is a gripping and suspenseful read that kept me on the edge of my seat. Her main character's, Abby and Greg, would do anything to make their life long dreams reality. Abby, with her dream of opening and running a successful advertising agency. Greg with his dream of becoming a novelist. Lately, it has all taken its toll on their marriage - the bills, settling for less than they'd hoped and planned for, the dreams that now feel totally out of reach. When Abby receives a phone call from Greg's writing buddy the suspense and intrigue really heat up! I'd LOVE to go on here and lead you around the twists, turns, and heart pounding suspense; but I won't! If you love intrigue, if you've ever had a dream you'd die for - or, kill for, then you won't want to miss reading Deadly Thoughts. The ending is absolutely superb! An awesome read!

In SECRETS :
Everyone has secrets. Some are good. Some are bad. Some are deadly.
In THE PLAN :
To achieve the life she'd dreamed of, Jackie came up with the perfect plan. But is the plan the key to her dream or to her worst nightmare?
In UNHOLY ANGELS :
Liz Janssen's marriage was over long before she filed for divorce. There is no way her soon to be ex-husband committed suicide because of her. Yet that is what her teenage son, Will, believes.
Others in their small West Virginia town share this thinking - namely members of a homicidal Satanic cult, of which her husband was a member. The group wants vengeance for the death of one of their own and is not above using Liz's troubled, grief-stricken son as an instrument for their revenge. To save both herself and her son, Liz must stop them- and she must do so without Doug finding out.
Liz has found true love for the first time in her life. Doug is the new sheriff; a man tormented by his past, and he will stop at nothing, and spare no one - including Liz's son - to destroy the cult's evil leader.
REVIEW OF UNHOLY ANGELS :
* * * * Wonderful romantic thriller
Can a family survive evil? That's what Liz Janssen tries to find out when her son, Will, joins a Satanic cult -- following in her dead husband's footsteps. She doesn't believe that her husband,Peter, would commit suicide because of her. After all, they were already in the process of getting a divorce. But her dead husband's friend, a member of the cult, convinces her son of that lie. In turn, Will rebels and accuses her of causing his father's death.
Liz finds herself emotionally stranded when she meets the local new sheriff, Doug McBride, who investigates the death of Peter Janssen. He has his own doubts that Peter killed himself. He knows about the cult, it's evil leader, and is determined to destroy them. But somewhere along the way, he falls in love with Liz, and that feeling becomes mutual.
Just how far will Doug go to destroy the Satanic cult, especially when he learns that Will has become a member? Can Liz break the bond that the cult holds on her son?
This was a real page-turning thriller with enough romance to keep me happy. I throroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more of Karen Fenech's works.
