About Me

I always have the hardest time with 'about me' pages. I mean, there's not much to tell and what there is will probably bore the life right out of ya, but if you insist on knowing, here you go. I'm a married mom of two, a boy and a girl, who, if I overlook all the gray hairs they give me, are great and keep me busy.
I'm obsessed with Scotland. I absolutely love it. The country, the music, the people, the accent, the castles, the history. Everything about it. It's my dream to vacation there in the near future. Though I always joke with my husband that once I get there, he better plan on staying because I won't be leaving. For now I settle for the next closest thing---The Highland Games that are held every August. It's not the real thing, but it's a great time and I love going every year...rain or shine.
I'm a struggling writer trying to find my way on the path to publication. It hasn't happened yet, but my fingers are crossed that one day, I'll pull it all together and finally nab that contract. But for now, I glean all the info I can from fellow writers. I've been a member of Romance Writers of America for 5 years, along with a few of it's sub-chapters. I also belong to a small crit group which consists of myself and 4 other writers. We've been 'together' forever.
